As with any new venture, we weren't sure how it would turn out - would anyone come? Could we get sponsors? Would a modest fee be enough to cover our costs? were among the many questions we had leading up to Saturday. For 2019 we wanted to push ourselves to turn that small gathering into a "real event" with speakers, workshops - and of course food - and that's how the idea for our first Mini-Conference was born. For the past two years we have hosted small, informal Community of Practice gatherings to bring together area folks using or interested in using mindfulness-based SEL.
